Newborn Baby

It's all about you

Every child, family and situation is different and a one-size-fits-all approach doesn't work to soothe a restless baby.

One of the things I love most about my work is developing a genuinely personalised and holistic approach that works for every individual.

I apply all of the following principles to every client – that's every baby, every parent and every affected sibling.

How my philosophy affects my approach

Baby's Room

Getting to know each other is key for me

Before any sleep training, I'll take the time to get to know you and your child personally. That includes nap routines, diet, sleep environment, your child’s character, and anything else that may be influencing their sleep patterns.

I'll respect every parent’s individual parenting philosophy and will work with you to find a solution you feel comfortable with.

I focus on natural methodologies

Newborns’ sleep patterns are biologically immature for a reason – they need to feed around the clock. It's nature’s clever way of allowing your baby to thrive and adjust to life outside of the womb, ensuring plenty of time to bond with you. Lucky them!

I work with, not against nature, so I'll always consider different sleep methods that support the natural development of your child.

It's okay to get a sleep consultant

Raising a family is incredibly rewarding, but there can be challenges. If we work together, you can apply as many and as few tips as you like. You'll still be raising your child in the way that suits you all best.

Myth-buster

Still tossing and turning over whether to go for it? Let's clear up some misconceptions around sleep consultancy:

1. While sleep consultancy might be a product of the 21st century, it's just as vital as any other health-related support new parents need.

2. It doesn't mean you're failing as a parent. Everyone needs help and acknowledging that is the first step to making things better.

3. Sleep training doesn't equal 'cry it out'. That might work for some parents, but others prefer a gentler approach. We'll discuss any of your personal preferences in our first consultation.
